Ercle ("we," "us," or "our") operates ercle.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. We collect as little as possible.
1. Information We Collect
Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe to the Ercle newsletter, we collect your email address. This is processed and stored by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email service provider. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Contact and inquiry forms
When you submit a form on Ercle (including provider consultation requests and listing applications), form data is processed by Netlify. We receive the submitted information via email. Provider consultation forms include the Ercle protocol context you chose to attach, your name, email, state, and any notes you provided.
Usage data
We may collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, and device type. This data is aggregated and anonymized. We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site tracking.
Cookies
Ercle uses no first-party advertising cookies. The site may set functional cookies for performance purposes. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send the Ercle newsletter to subscribers who opted in
- To route provider consultation requests to the relevant practitioner listing
- To respond to listing applications and inquiries
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, sell it to data brokers, or share it with peptide vendors or compounding pharmacies.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Brevo — email delivery and subscriber management (Brevo Privacy Policy)
- Netlify — website hosting and form processing (Netlify Privacy Policy)
- Google Fonts — font delivery; Google may log the request IP
4. Data Retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by emailing editor@ercle.com.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send. For other data requests, contact editor@ercle.com.
6. Children's Privacy
Ercle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
