What Ercle Is
Ercle is an independent peptide research database and intelligence publication. We profile peptides with honest evidence ratings, regulatory status, and clinical context — for practitioners, researchers, and informed patients.

Our Independence Policy
No vendor relationships. We accept no compensation, product samples, sponsored content, or advertising from peptide vendors, compounding pharmacies, research chemical suppliers, or supplement companies.
Advertising policy: Ercle accepts advertising from professional service providers (labs, software, education), non-peptide healthcare companies, and non-competing publications. No editorial influence. See the Advertise page for details.
No affiliate relationships for any compound or supplier.
How We Rate Evidence
We use a four-tier rating system:
Multiple Phase III RCTs; FDA approval or equivalent; consistent independent replication.
Phase II RCTs; multiple Phase I/II human studies; independent replication; mechanistic data supported by human PKs.
Animal models with consistent results; limited human data; single research group; mechanistically plausible.
Single animal study or in vitro only; contradictory findings; theoretical mechanism.
We do not adjust ratings for anecdotal reports, community testimonials, or marketing claims.
How We Update
Evidence ratings are reviewed annually at minimum. When significant new studies publish, we update on a rolling basis. The "Last Reviewed" date on each entry reflects when we last assessed the evidence.
